We’ve Got Mad Skills

One of many things the clueless masses fail to take into consideration is that teachers have all sorts of duties and responsibilities that never make the Top-Ten List of What Teachers Do.  These might include tying shoes, applying band-aids, removing the very scary spider from the bathroom, reattaching errant backpack straps, and reading journal entries and Small Moment stories written by six- and seven-year-olds.

This is dedicated to all my fellow instructional warriors whose mad skills include fluency in First Grade-ese.  Boo-yah!
